Joseph Rank (1854 - 1943) - 150th Celebration of the life of Joseph Rank - 1st November 2004.

On Monday 1st November The Joseph Rank Trust, together with Joseph Rank's Family and the Trust's Grant holders, celebrated 150 years since Joseph Rank's birth. This unique event brought 230 people together in a service of celebration at St Michael's Church in Cornhill to thank God for the life of the Trust's Founder and the wonderful impact his life continues to have on people up and down Great Britain & Ireland. The service was followed by a reception at the Merchant Taylors' Hall.

The service

At the vibrant reception beneficiaries of the Trust's grants met and shared experience from the widely varying social projects & charities represented. Guests also heard from four Grant holders learning of the issues they face and how Joseph Rank's money is still helping them today.
